Hållfjällssvängen

An outing from Hållfjället Tourist Station

This new ski trail runs between Hållfjället Tourist Station and the old sheiling in Dalsnyvallen, where the trail joins Lyckoleden, 165. This trail provides a wonderful outing between Edsåsdalen and Hållfjället Tourist Station, or between Trillevallen, via Grofjället, and the Tourist Station, or simply a round trip from Ottsjö.

From Dalsnyvallen, the route goes uphill for a little over a kilometre, but the final stretch to Hållfjället Tourist Station is easier going. On the other hand, you can glide down through the forest, on the long and fairly steep mountainside from the tourist station to Dalsnyvallen. Take the chance to enjoy the views to the north, over Mullfjället, Åreskutan, and Renfjället.
