Edsåsdalen then and now, with or without fairy tales

Do you feel like taking an easy round trip with a little history and some fairy tales? If the children are with you, then the fairy tale path is a must-do. Walk down the hill beside Köja. The fairy tale path is in the woods along the river. If magical adventures aren’t for you, continue along the path beside Henån towards Dalen. The signs along the route tell you about life in Edsåsdalen as it was in the past.

In Dalen, the route follows the artful path for a short way. Turn right on a gravel road and continue along the old village road. The route takes you to a beautiful pasture. If you have a picnic with you, this is the perfect spot and you may get curious cows or sheep as company. From here, the walk goes along the lovely old village road. Enjoy the beautiful views of Välliste and Grofjället and keep an eye out for the signs that show the way back to Köja.
