Årefjällsleden

A genuine skiing experience for both elites and enthusiasts

The Årefjällsleden trail links the villages of Södra Årefjällen. The trail has amazing views across the mountains and forested valleys. From the winter sports holiday onward, a great deal of the trail is groomed at least once  a week.

You can ski sections of the trail between villages or, if you’re fit, ski the whole distance in one go. The route can be exposed and there is a risk of it being covered by drifting snow, so take a map, compass and extra clothing with you. It largely follows the same route as Årefjällsloppet, an international ski marathon that has several classes to choose from.

Årefjällsloppet is a unique experience!
